Name

My reflective journey in life began at a tender age, sparked by a book about Buddha gifted to me by my beloved aunt, Kalyani. Her simple but thoughtful act ignited a lifelong quest: What is life’s purpose in the face of mortality?

This profound question propelled me from a humble village in southern India to global stages, shaping my path despite the economic challenges that surrounded me. My family’s unwavering support became the wind beneath my wings, driving me to elevate our circumstances and reach beyond what once seemed impossible.

My journey took a pivotal turn during my time at Guindy Engineering college, where studying engineering laid the foundation for a successful career at Infosys. There, I had the privilege of guiding companies across the globe in defining their vision, goals, people, and technology, leaving behind a legacy of satisfied clients and transformative success.

Yet, it wasn’t just the corporate world that defined me. From childhood, two pursuits have shaped my life like the wings of a bird: art and self-realization. Whether through writing, speaking, or acting, my creative spirit has flourished alongside my professional and entrepreneurial pursuits in the United States and India. At the same time, my quest for personal development, nurtured by reading and meditating with the guidance of genuine teachers from India, has been equally significant. These twin passions—art and personal development —have allowed me to soar, each supporting and balancing the other.

I have always been committed to helping others with their well-being and excellence, offering one-on-one sessions and talks since my high school days. Whatever I gathered, I was eager to share with others. With a master’s degree in psychology, I formalized my personal study of the mind and its potential, despite the challenges posed by those who profit from misappropriating the work of others in this noble field.

Through my life experiences, I’ve come to deeply understand a vital truth: LOVE is the cornerstone of all achievement. This realization has been further deepened by my practice of Sahaj Marg—Heartfulness Meditation—introduced to me in 2002, which has helped me address my fundamental questions about purpose.

From this rich tapestry of experiences, I finally emerged after years of struggle as an aspiring entrepreneur, bringing to the world products and services rooted in both art and self realization.

I am profoundly grateful for my talented friends and partners who share in these creative ventures. My beloved wife, daughter, sister, parents, grandparents, and aunts form the bedrock of my existence, shaping a life built on cooperation, inspiration, and collective growth—all rooted in love.

About My Name: Citizen KK

In October 2016, on a memorable evening, my dear friend Pat Maloney affectionately called me ‘Citizen K.’ That moment marked the beginning of my journey to fully embrace what it means to be a citizen of both my country and the world. In honor of Pat, who helped me realize this, and my loyal companion Keegan—my son, who helped me understand and deeply feel the unity of all life, not just human—became the inspiration behind the second ‘K,’ which also honors my ancestry. I adopted the name Citizen KK for this new chapter in my life.

Dedication

I dedicate my work and whatever useful I may leave on this earth to my one and only daughter, Lakshita, my master teacher, who is taking my heart to the infinite depths of love ever since our eyes first met.

Thank You,

Citizen KK
