### Blog 9: Think Before You Post!
Yesterday, I received a forwarded video that was quite moving. It depicted the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, visiting his math teacher after 26 years. The only problem? The man in the video wasn’t Sundar Pichai—it was actually the founder of IC3, Mr. Ganesh Kohli.
Perhaps a prankster or someone seeking attention for their channel made up this story, but the consequences are more significant than we might think.
When we mindlessly forward anything we receive, we lose the ability to discern what is true and what is false.
As I watched the video, my wife asked, "Did Sundar Pichai study in Karnataka?" I had my own questions. "I’ve always seen Mr. Pichai with a full head of hair—what happened here? He doesn’t look like someone who just had a drastic haircut! Something feels off. And what is IC3, mentioned at the beginning of the video?"
Her question confirmed my doubts, so I started digging for the truth. Sure enough, the real story came to light.
It's essential to evaluate what we share and verify the facts before hitting that forward button. It’s not just for our own good, but for the integrity of the information we circulate.
Shall we, friends?
